BMW Teases The Sexy Lines Of The 8 Series Gran Coupé
It's only a month until the unveil for the 8 Series Gran Coupé. And BMW's teasing makes us very impatient.
Set to take on the Porsche Panamera and Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé. The 8 Series Gran Coupé is the upcoming flagship in BMW's lineup. It's only a month now until the unveiling so BMW decided it was time to hype it up.
Not many details have been leaked yet but expect the car to come with the known powerplants sitting in the current 8 Series. A six-cylinder diesel and a 4.4L twin-turbo V8 from the M850i.
Alongside those two, it's almost certain that this car as well will receive the full M8 treatment. Using the basics from the M5, it should come with more than 600 hp to surpass not only the M5 but also the Panamera Sport Turismo and the AMG GT 63 S.
We always loved the 6 Gran Coupé and hope that the replacing 8 Gran Coupé follows that trend. More on it as it releases next month...
