Beau
Aged 27, Beau started his love for cars when he was 8 years old and his dad took him to a Formula 1 race, since then F1 and supercars started to obsess his life but that gradually became everything on four wheels with an engine.
He’s the main video guy on the team but also the face you see in our reviews. Loves cars with a short wheelbase but won’t turn down anything supercharged.
The equipment he uses: Sony A7iii with 24-105mm F4 or 85mm F1.4 mounted on a Ronin RS3 Pro or like an action cam on a car
Ward
Aged 34, Ward only picked up his hobby 6 years ago after finally getting the time to do so. Interested in cars from a young age, he never had a true Petrolhead near him while growing up. “Did he miss anything by not having a Petrolhead around?” He doesn’t think so, according to him it makes his love purer. Let us hope he doesn’t mean that too literally. Whether it’s a world-famous car show, or just another supercar cruising through the streets of Rotterdam, Ward is willing to go. His friends mock him with his love for diesel, but none have driven the distances he has. Did we mention he used to be clinician?

Kenny
Aged 35, Kenny has been added to “Team CJ” in December 2019. He has been working as a car journalist since April 2017, but the love for cars has grown since a very young age. Muscle cars, classic cars, supercars … he loves them all.
His favourite quote: “You can’t be a real petrolhead until you’ve owned an Alfa Romeo” by Jeremy Clarkson. So he went to buy an Alfa Romeo Giulia. Smart move?
Nick
Although he is 24 years old, his love for cars is expressed in the ownership of a Benz that is more than twice his age. However, this freshly graduated automotive engineer is developing a soft spot for cars that relinquish conventional drivetrains and come up with innovative solutions.
Friends call him autistic on a regular base because of the huge amount of information stored in his brain but are secretly jealous of the knowledge he possesses. Nick happens to be the only one in the team who still holds on to mirror cameras, and no one has been able to take away his love for prime lenses.
Tommy
Aged 19, Tommy is our youngest member. He joined “Team CJ” mid 2020, right before we tested the F-Type R. (And oh boy, does he love a muscly engine sound). He is loving his time at CJ and has already tested a variety of cars. Tommy is responsible for the video side of things, together with Beau, which to date, has resulted in some very engaging content. Tommy is the kind of guy who is very distracted most of the time, whether it’s by big and juicy, um, engines, or by fancy camera gear. However, he always manages to get the job done in one way or another. When it comes to his passion for cars, we like to call him an OG. When he cruised around in his pram, he could name car manufacturers based off of the rims. He did crash a lot of model cars back then so good luck to you Tommy out there on the roads!
His current equipment exists out of the following; a Sony A7RII, 50mm F1.8, 18mm F2.8 and to stabilise things a little, a DJI Ronin-M.
Kyle
With a Tesla Model 3 Highland and Ducati Panigale V2 in his garage at the age of 29, he can call himself an automotive lover. He joined “Team CJ” in January 2022 right after we tested the Audi RS e-Tron GT. He’s a content creator @kybogrfx, Tech-Savvy and likes a bit of fooling around, which results in hilarious content.
We don’t call him crazy but prefer “Mentally Hilarious”.
His current equipment consists of the following: Sony A7RIII with the Sigma 35mm 1.4, iPhone 15 Pro Max in his pocket and the DJI Mini Pro 3 to make some content from above.

We see ourselves as hybrid platform users, using social media and this website to spread our content. We believe that a website alone cannot suffice anymore at this day and age but that social media alone doesn’t offer enough flexibility. This basically translates into our social media content being a ‘snack’ and our website being the ‘dinner’ at the end of your day.
We tell our stories, share our photos and show our videos on our own platforms. We also aim to help small businesses improve their exposure via social media, offering tailor-made social media counseling, content creation and support. We really see it all through a lens.
