CJ German Roadtrip day 1

We, Ward and I, are on a road trip this week through Germany for the IAA and other goodness. We started today at the Green Hell as preparations have started for another industry pool testing session and we all know we cannot leave prototypes alone.

We started the day with a four hour drive to the Nordschleife trough horrible weather, but our moods weren't going to be let down by this as we have some great days ahead. We arrived and immediately saw our first prototypes being unloaded. Much to our surprise an Aston Martin DB10 drove onto the public road, yup this beauty is road legal, only to disappear into a large truck seconds later. I never had seen prototypes before and Ward instructed me in some tricks of the spying business.

Nothing is what it seems when you are there during testing weeks and that became evident all to quickly when we missed shooting a BMW M4 GTS by a hair. We strolled along to find a tent and truck that said: Apollo. "What? Those were bankrupt right? Ward asked out loud?" An employee quickly told us that they are back and will now wear the name Apollo. We took some shots and saw that the day had gone far to quickly.

After looking at the track-day people for a while whilst enjoying pizza, we decided to head towards the hotel as tomorrow will be grueling and exciting as well. You can follow us on Instagram and Facebook for live uploads and please check in here on the website for more text and images.
