Kimera EVO37 to get Belgian Debut at Gentleman’s Fair

This isn’t something you’ll get to see everyday… Especially in Belgium

You might have already heard about the Kimera EVO37, and if you haven’t let me give you the rundown. The car is an hommage to the Lancia 037, one of the most infamous Group-B monsters of the 80’s.
The Kimera is a restomod being based on the Lancia Beta Montecarlo, just like the original 037. Each piece of the car, from the 2-passenger driving cell to the mid-engined, rear wheel drive drivetrain was carefully revised and evolved in spirit of the restomod project. This is thanks to the acquisition of the intellectual property of all technical components.
Now to put it in some numbers, the Kimera EVO37 features a 2.2L 4 cilinder engine which has a centrifugal turbocharger and a roots compressor equipped with electronically managed electro-clutch. This gives a solid 505 hp and 550 Nm of torque going through a six-speed to the rear wheels. Weight is yet to be disclosed but Kimera is targeting a power/weight ratio of 1/2.

And just have a look at how good this looks. The original 037 was always one of those wallpaper cars but this really takes it a step further.

Now as said, this car will be at the Gentleman's Fair from the 11th until the 14th of November. The Gentleman’s Fair is also called Belgium’s Biggest Mancave.
We’ve driven their 964 and 4C to promote the Gentleman’s Fair, it’s got everything a man desires. Whether you’re the active sporting type, a gadget freak or just someone who likes to live pur sang. It’s got something for everyone. And this year with the premiere of a Kimera EVO37 in an exclusice color combo which has never been shown to the public before! On top of that, international rally driver Luca Betti, designer and owner of Kimera Automobili will be there to talk you through his creation.

Interested in coming to the Gentleman’s Fair too? It takes place from the 11th of November until the 14th of November in Waregem Expo.
