GIMS Live: Lamborghini Huracan Evo Convertible Nails The Open-Top Recipe

How can you improve the already amazing Huracan Evo? Simple: just cut the roof off and enjoy the howl of the Huracan Evo Convertible V10 as much as possible.

Okay it was more than obvious that the Huracan Evo Convertible would follow shortly behind its coupé sibling. The new model keeps the same characteristics but adds the extra thrill of driving convertible.

So power is identical. You still get the same 5.2L V10 producing 640 hp and 600 Nm's. Top speed also stays 325 kmh but added 120 kg's (1542 kg) means that 0-100 drops from 2.9 to 3.1 seconds.

Lamborghini reports that the Huracan Evo Convertible has 5 times the downforce of the existing Huracan Spyder. Most of that comes from the revised front and rear bumpers as well as a smoother rear underbody thanks to the higher relocation of the exhaust.

The Huracan Evo Convertible will go on sale this spring with a base price of 250.000 €.
