Finally we can admire the new Jaguar F-type

Let's be honest, completely new isn't really accurate. Jaguar gave their F-type a really big cosmetic-intervention. But that's not the only thing Jaguar did. Also the interior and what lies under the hood have changed.

The success story began in 2013 when Jaguar came with the F-type convertible and a year later the coupé. An instant classic was born and since then Jaguar has only done a few little upgrades to their car. Until now!

The facelift is best noticeable in the front, where the whole front bumper is redrawn together with other headlights and a new hood. If you move to the side and back Jaguar has been more subtle. The lines of the car haven't been changed, never change a winning team. On the back, the V8 has got 2 exhaust tips on either side and the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo gets 2 in the middle. What has changed on the back are the new lights.

We talked about the V8 and the little four-cylinder, but did we forget the V6? No, Jaguar canceled the V6. Now there are two V8's. The first supercharged 5.0-liter V8 gets 450 hp and 580 Nm. It can be ordered in rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, but both will hit 100 km/h in 4,6 seconds and the maximum speed is 285 km/h. The R gets 575 hp and 700 Nm torque and only needs 3,7 seconds to hit 100 km/u. This one will top at 300 km/h.

The turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder has 300 hp and like all the others- uses an 8-speed Quickshift-automatic gearbox

On the interior, the F-type gets the 10-inch Touch Pro-system in the middle and behind the steering wheel, there's a 12.3-inch digital screen you can use for the dials. Also, you will find the description "Jaguar Est. 1935" all over the interior. We don't need to explain why.

Prices start at 65.100 euros.
